The production company a group therapy was founded in 2023 by Laurian-Luis Schymura in Hamburg, Germany. Since 2024, it is transformed on the principles of steward-ownership (Purpose Economy) and is jointly managed in collaboration with Josephine Hasenjäger.

While our focus lies primarily on the international co-production with Germany’s many neighbouring countries and in general on the creative support of film projects, we see ourselves as a holistic creative studio. Our emphasis is on collaborative working methods and space for new ideas beyond film storytelling.
